Fern Bay Motel is seeking casual Room Attendants to join our housekeeping team. Our motels cater to a wide range of guests, and shifts are around 15 hours per week. You will clean guest rooms to schedule, restock amenities and maintain high standards of cleanliness across bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and floors.

Flexible to work a 7‑day rotating roster with shifts between 9am and 2pm; penalty rates apply. Applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience is preferable but not essential.
• A good eye for detail, self-motivated and able to work in a team, as well as on your own.
• Must be friendly, with great customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work a 7 day rotating roster - shifts between 9am - 2pm; penalty rates apply.
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia.

Responsabilités

• Clean guest rooms as per schedule.
• Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and floors.
• Vacuum rooms.
• Make beds to the required standard.
• Dust and clean furniture and mirrors.
• Ensure rooms are stocked with guest amenities.
• Use appropriate cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain, use and store equipment correctly.
• Dispose of all waste.
• Report any maintenance required.

Fern Bay Motel are currently seeking casual Room Attendants to join our Housekeeping teams. Our motels caters to a wide range of guests. Hours vary but on an average 15 hours per week, with the potential to gain more hours

Task & Responsibilities

Cleaning of guests rooms as per schedule

Cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and floors

Vacuuming of rooms

Making beds to the required standard

Dusting and cleaning of furniture and mirrors

Ensure all rooms are fully stocked with guest amenities

Use appropriate chemicals for cleaning purposes

Ensure all equipment is maintained, used and stored correctly

Disposal of all waste

Report any maintenance required

Qualifications & Experience

We are seeking someone who has a can-do attitude, great communication and customer service skills. We require someone who has great attention to detail and able to retain our high standards in a busy and physically demanding position. Prior cleaning experience is preferable but not essential, as training will be provided.
