Mercure Ballarat Hotel and Convention Centre is seeking casual Housekeeping Attendants to join our friendly team. If you take pride in cleanliness and guest comfort, we’d love to hear from you.

As a Housekeeping Attendant you will clean guest rooms to hotel standards, change bed linens, replenish towels and amenities, and maintain public areas. We value reliability, teamwork and the ability to work a flex roster, including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible casual roster, including weekends and public holidays.
• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is an advantage, but a willingness to learn is essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms to hotel standards.
• Change bed linen, make beds and replenish towels and guest amenities.
• Clean bathrooms and ensure areas are hygienic and well presented.
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas as required.
• Report maintenance issues and lost property to the appropriate team member.
• Follow workplace health, safety and hygiene procedures.
• Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
