Job summary

Scape is hiring a Casual Wellness & Hygiene Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and aesthetic appearance of Scape assets. You will clean public areas daily, assist with room cleaning for residents, and participate in building open days and tours.

The role requires attention to safety, the ability to multitask, and the ability to relate to young adults in a professional setting. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of experience in large commercial environments or 4–5 star hotels, and can work

Qualifications

• Experience as a public area cleaner in a large commercial environment or as a room attendant in a 4–5 star hotel.
• 1–2 years' experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work in both team-based and independent settings.
• Comfortable interacting with young adults while maintaining professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of public areas: common rooms, lounges, theatre, outdoor terraces, gym, laundry, corridors and stairwells.
• Maintain health and safety obligations at all times.
• Weekly room cleaning and bed making for residents as required.
• Assist in building open days and tours.

THE ROLE

Our Casual Wellness & Hygiene team members are responsible for the day-to-day presentation and overall cleanliness and aesthetic appearance of Scape assets. We are seeking a enthusiastic Housekeeper to join our Wellness & Hygiene team in [City]. In this role, your key responsibilities are as follows:

• Daily cleaning of public areas including common rooms, lounges, theatre, outdoor terraces, gym and laundry, corridors, and stairwells
• Being fully aware with health and safety obligations
• Weekly room cleaning and bed making for residents as required
• Participating in building open days and tours

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are seeking enthusiastic self-starters with the following skills and experience:

• High attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise and multitask
• Can work in team or individual setting
• Ability to work with and relate to young adults while also maintaining professional and cultural sensitivity and boundaries
• 1-2 years' experience as a public area cleaner in a large commercial environment or room attendant in a 4 – 5 star hotel environment
