Job summary

Manuka Park Serviced Apartments in Canberra is seeking casual Housekeepers to join our team. Flexible hours and hands-on training in a friendly, small team environment. We offer 2 to 3 shifts per week, mainly on weekends, with shifts between 9am and 3pm.

We provide Four Star serviced apartments to business and leisure visitors, located opposite the Manuka Oval. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

• A good level of fitness and high personal hygiene standards.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and courteously.
• Prepare apartments for guest arrivals.
• Service apartments during guests' stays.
• Coordinate with maintenance and reception teams.
• Carry out other duties as directed by management.

Job description

Manuka Park Serviced Apartments is looking for a new Housekeepers to join our team on a casual basis. We can offer flexible hours and hands on training in a friendly small team environment. Ideal candidates are interested in the hotel industry and are looking for2 to 3 shifts per week, between the hours of 9am to 3pm, 7 days per week but primarily on the weekend.

Manuka Park provides Four Star serviced apartments to business and leisure visitors to Canberra. Ideally located opposite the Manuka Oval we are a busy hotel with very high occupancy levels and a large number of repeat visitors.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Available to work shifts between 9am and 3pm, weekdays and weekends
• A good level of fitness and high personal hygiene standards
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential

Some of your duties will include:

• Acknowledging every guest in a prompt and courteous manner
• Preparing apartments for guest arrivals
• Servicing apartments during guests stays
• Liaising with hotel maintenance andreception team members
• Carrying out other duties as directed by management

Previous experience in a housekeeping role is highly regarded, however not essential as full training and support will be provided to all successful applicants.
