Job summary

Veriu Group is seeking team members for Punthill Tuggeranong, to maintain high cleanliness and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will work under the Hotel Manager in a small, values-driven team and contribute to everyday guest comfort in a growing Australian hotel group.

The role offers morning/day shifts, on-site work, and long-term career progression within the Veriu network, with access to team benefits and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Approved Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or a Visa with approved working rights).
• Attention to detail, organisational skills and high standards of cleanliness.
• Flexibility to work at least 3 shifts a week (primarily morning / day shifts).
• Ability to work as a team & also independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain common areas to brand standards.
• Guest room in-stay & departure cleans to a high standard.
• Ensure that the efficiency and quality of cleans meet hotel benchmarks.
• Provide feedback on hotel common area condition to the Housekeeping Manager or Hotel Manager.

Punthill Tuggeranong is the first Punthill hotel within Greater Canberra, marking an exciting new chapter for our expanding group.Located near several key attractions, Punthill Tuggeranong is set to become a preferred choice for corporate travellers in the area. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in establishing our presence in Canberra, working closely with our Super Host & Hotel Manager to ensure seamless hotel operations. Your focus will be on understanding our key guests – the corporate travellers – and enhancing their experience during their stay.

• 76 apartments, ranging from Studio to Three Bedroom.
• All apartmentsare self-contained with full kitchens, washers and dryers. on site conference space, gym, pantry, and lobby fireplace.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you'll be part of a small team of genuine people, looking to create lasting memories and exceptional experiences for each and every guest.

• Maintain common areas to brand standards
• Guest room in-stay & departure cleans to a high standard
• Ensure that the efficiency and quality of cleans meet hotel benchmarks
• Provide feedback on hotel common area condition to the Housekeeping Manager or Hotel Manager, particularly in terms of areas that require deep clean, repairs or replacement to maintain hotel standards
