Job summary

TAFESA is seeking an experienced dispatcher to coordinate loading, trailer movements and yard operations in our Adelaide facilities. You will dispatch drivers with loads, manage overflow coordination, and verify drivers hours of service to maintain efficient throughput in a multi-shifter yard.

The role requires accurate data entry and strong MS Office skills to support scheduling, reporting and yard management activities at our site.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
• Accurate and rapid data entry

Responsibilities

• Dispatches loads throughout the country in the feeder network based on different service levels, time in transit, and sort indicators
• Manages Yard Control duties, assigning trailer movement to shifters around the yard and in the unload during the sort with multiple shifters
• Coordinates overflows and verifies drivers hours of service
