Job summary

Lutheran Services is seeking a dedicated Cleaning, Laundry & Catering Assistant for Cabanda Aged Care in Rosewood. This casual role requires availability across a 7-day roster with potential to move to part-time for the successful applicant.

You will perform cleaning of resident rooms and communal areas, assist with catering and meal service, and handle laundry duties, contributing to a welcoming and home-like environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience as Cleaner, Laundry, Catering Assistant or similar (aged care experience highly regarded)
• Compassionate and committed to delivering respectful, person-centred care
• Flexible, reliable, and willing to support the team when needed

We're looking for a dedicated Cleaning, Laundry & Catering Assistant to join the team at Cabanda Aged Care in Rosewood.

Help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment-making making a real difference in the lives of our residents by ensuring they feel at home and cared for.

Location: Cabanda Aged Care, Rosewood, QLD

Role Type: Casual (with potential to Permanent Part-time for the successful applicant)

Remuneration: $35.40 per hour (includes 25% casual loading) + Super + Salary Packaging + Staff Discounts

About the Role

Due to the nature of the role, flexibility is essential. You must be available to work across a 7-day roster and be willing to pick up shifts at short notice, including covering unplanned leave and absences.

This is an all-round Hotel Services role, including a mix of:

• Cleaning resident rooms and communal areas
• Catering support (food preparation, meal service and dishwashing)
• Laundry duties (washing, folding and distributing linen and clothing)

About You

• Experience as a Cleaner, Laundry, Catering Assistant or similar (aged care experience highly regarded)
• Compassionate and committed to delivering respectful, person-centred care
• Flexible, reliable, and willing to support the team when needed
