Job summary

Infinite Aged Care is seeking a motivated individual to assist in a fast‑paced commercial kitchen, helping with food preparation, plating, and service for residents. You will support dietary needs, maintain cleanliness, and work with our Chef Manager and Hotel Services Team to deliver high‑quality meals daily.

This role is physical and dynamic, requiring bending, lifting, and safe handling. Pre‑employment checks apply, and a current NDIS clearance or willingness to apply is required.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or commercial kitchen experience (or a strong interest in developing these skills).
• Students completing or planning Commercial Cookery studies who want to build practical, hands‑on skills that directly support their training.
• Strong communication, initiative, and attention to detail skills.
• Reliable, adaptable team players who thrive in a busy kitchen environment and have the availability to support a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of kitchen and dining cleanliness.
• Set up and reset dining rooms and equipment for each service.

• Hours: Monday 10:30am–5:30pm, Tuesday 10:30am–5:30pm, Sunday 10:30am–5:30pm.

This role is a physical & fast paced with a lot of variety, you will do a lot of bending, squatting, lifting and pushing items to carry out your daily tasks safely. It is important you can perform these tasks without risk of injury to yourself, your colleagues and our residents.
