Job summary

Infinite Aged Care is seeking a dedicated housekeeping team member in Queensland. The role focuses on keeping dining areas, lounges and residents’ rooms clean, safe and welcoming to support a homelike environment for residents.

Reporting to the Hotel Services Team Leader, you will follow hygiene protocols and operate a housekeeping trolley and equipment to maintain hazard-free areas and contribute to high-quality cleaning services.

• Previous experience in laundry, cleaning or similar support role.
• Be a strong team player with friendly, respectful attitude.
• Warm, compassionate approach to residents.
• Commitment to health and safety procedures.

About The Role

Your shift starts with a short briefing with the Housekeeping Team Leader to go through the daily schedule and tasks that will cover;

• Clean and tidy the dining areas, hallways, lounges, library and residents' rooms.
• Follow all hygiene protocols while performing cleaning tasks with a stable trolley and equipment.
• Maintain work areas in a clean, safe, trip-free and hazard-free condition at all times.

This is a physically active role requiring daily bending, squatting, lifting, and pushing a housekeeping trolley. You must be able to perform these tasks safely to protect yourself, your team, and our residents.

About You

• Previous experience in a laundry, cleaning, or similar support role.
• Be a strong team player, you are friendly, respectful, courteous and has a strong work ethic
• A warm, friendly and compassionate approach, with a genuine desire to support and engage with our residents.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety, with the ability to follow procedures and communicate clearly with your team.
• Proactive in supporting residents in dining areas, helping to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free environment.
• A confident problem-solver who can work independently, take initiative and adapt in a fast-paced setting.
• Reliable, hardworking, flexible and with good availability to cover a variety of shifts.
