Job summary

Woodford Hotel in Woodford, Queensland, is seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to lead a hands-on team across all hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance. You will be responsible for maintaining guest service standards, safety, and financial performance.

The successful candidate will bring senior hospitality experience, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to drive bookings, revenue, and guest satisfaction in a busy property with a staunch food

Qualifications

• Previous hotel management or senior hospitality experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Commercial awareness and experience managing budgets and performance targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop the hotel team.
• Oversee front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance operations.
• Maintain excellent standards of guest service, cleanliness, presentation, and safety.
• Manage staffing, rosters, training, performance, and recruitment.
• Monitor budgets, costs, occupancy, revenue, and operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, employment, health and safety, and food-hygiene requirements.
• Work closely with suppliers, contractors, and the hotel owners or senior management.
• Identify opportunities to increase bookings, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
