Minor Hotels’ Oaks Ipswich Aspire Suites is seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to lead a dynamic property near Nicholas Street Precinct in Woodend, Ipswich. You will report to the Cluster General Manager and oversee all hotel operations, maintenance, and strata management while driving efficiency and guest satisfaction.

The role requires overseeing profitability, forecasting, rostering, and staff development to deliver outstanding service and financial performance in a hands-on leadership

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year leadership experience in hospitality.
• Strong operational and financial management including budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience with body corporate and strata management.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and engage staff.
• Proven track record of maximizing revenue while controlling costs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience through proactive leadership of the property.
• Manage day-to-day profitability, presentation and operations of the entire property.

Job Description

Oaks Ipswich Aspire Suites is looking for an experienced and driven Hotel Manager to take on this rare opportunity to lead a dynamic property located nearby Nicholas Street Precinct in Woodend, Ipswich.

As the Hotel Manager, you will report directly to an experienced Cluster General Manager and oversee all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring seamless daily activities and maintaining exceptional standards across all departments. This role involves comprehensive oversight of hotel operations, maintenance, and strata management to deliver outstanding guest experiences while driving operational efficiency and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Leverage your passion, initiative, and strategic approach to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Manage day-to-day profitability, presentation, and operations of the entire property.
• Oversee financial forecasting, staff rostering, and promotional initiatives to boost sales.
• Develop and lead the property team to reach their highest potential.
• Building strong relationships with key stakeholders including Body Corporate, Strata Managers, and local business partners
• Managing, leading, and motivating staff to ensure a high-performing team culture is maintained
• Make strategic decisions to increase Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR) by collating and analysing data.

Successful candidates will have:

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Hotel Manager or in a similar hospitality leadership role.
• Strong operational and financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting and revenue optimisation.
• Experience working within body corporate and strata management environments, with a sound understanding of compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership skills to foster accountability and staff engagement.
• Track record of upholding high service standards while maximizing revenue and minimizing costs.
• Ability to build strong relationships with guests, owners, and staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
• Ability to seek and maintain local market partnerships.
• Positive, energetic attitude with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
