Job summary

Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Officer on a casual basis to maintain guest rooms, public areas and facilities. You will support the maintenance team with repairs, inspections, and contractor supervision.

The role requires hands-on maintenance experience and a relevant trade qualification, with an afterhours component and afterhours rosters. Attractive hourly rates apply.

Qualifications

• Hands-on property maintenance experience, hotel preferred.
• Trade qualification in carpentry, electrical, plumbing or painting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience supporting preventative maintenance programs.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake general property repairs and maintenance as required.
• Assist in execution of preventative maintenance program.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house areas.
• Provide induction and supervision of external contractors.
• Maintain daily work records and service schedules.
• Support Maintenance Manager in contracting works and projects.
