Job summary

Marriott International’s Westin Melbourne is seeking a hands-on maintenance technician to respond to guest repair requests and perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment. You will visually inspect, test, and repair systems, and coordinate with shifts using approved communication standards.

Follow Lockout/Tagout safety practices, maintain inventory, and support interior/exterior maintenance tasks while upholding brand standards and guest safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in general maintenance or hotel engineering is a plus.
• Experience with painting, fixture repair, and basic systems troubleshooting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest maintenance requests and resolve issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Inspect and operate shut-off valves and building utilities.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and order parts as needed.
• Follow safety policies including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
