Job summary

Pullman Hotels & Resorts in Adelaide is seeking a hands-on Handyperson to maintain and refurbish hotel spaces. You will perform painting, decorating, preventive maintenance, and repairs across guest rooms and public areas, ensuring brand standards are upheld.

The role requires initiative, reliability, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in a similar role, relevant trade qualifications, and clearance checks.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years’ experience as a Handyperson in hospitality is essential.
• Trade qualification is preferred; pool operator certification is a plus.
• Police clearance and Working with Vulnerable Persons clearance are required.
• Computer literacy with Opera or similar PMS; MS Office suite expected.
• Physically fit for demanding manual painting tasks and standby on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prioritise and carry out maintenance to ensure smooth hotel operations.
• Plan preventative maintenance to maintain guest room and public area standards.
• Carry out repairs including painting, patching, and surface finishing.
• Coordinate with contractors and ensure work meets standards.
• Manage energy and water usage and keep the workshop stocked.
