Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance or a similar handyperson/maintenance supervisor role.
• Strong problem-solving abilities; able to work independently and within a team.
• Good communication skills and a guest-focused approach to service.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs and maintenance across hotel facilities and guest areas.
• Respond promptly to guest and departmental requests for assistance or repairs.
• Complete tasks from the maintenance checklist and work order system.
• Log and report defects, repairs, and actions taken.
• Ensure public areas and equipment are safe, clean, and fully operational.
• Liaise with tradespeople or the Maintenance Manager for complex repairs.
• Maintain WHS compliance and safe working practices.
• Rotate as Shift Operator and attend scheduled meetings and training.
