Job summary

Eatons Hill Hotel in Brisbane’s Northern Suburbs seeks a dedicated Maintenance & Handyperson to join our Facilities & Maintenance team. This full-time role (Mon–Fri) focuses on care, compliance, safety and the functionality of our award-winning hotel.

You will perform hands-on repairs and provide basic plumbing, carpentry, tiling and painting across the hotel, support hotel operations, respond to staff and guest requests, and uphold WHS standards in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Hands-on repair and maintenance across hotel facilities.
• Basic plumbing, carpentry, tiling and painting as required.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on repairs and maintenance activities.
• Provide basic plumbing, carpentry, tiling & painting services across the hotel.
• Collaborate with other departments to support hotel operations.
• Promptly respond to staff and guest repair requests.
• Monitor and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance programs as directed.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude in communications.
