Oaks Brisbane Festival Suites, part of Minor Hotels, is expanding its housekeeping team with casual opportunities for Common Area Cleaners/Houseperson. You’ll clean and maintain shared guest spaces, support daily operations, and work with a friendly hotel team to uphold high cleanliness standards.

Shifts are rotating across days, with emphasis on physical tasks; prior hospitality experience is valued, and training is provided to ensure safety and quality in guest areas.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a resort or hotel environment is highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical fitness and stamina for repetitive tasks like bending, lifting, and standing.
• Professional and clear communication with guests, team members, and contractors.
• Strong time management and ability to prioritise tasks.
• A positive, proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining all common guest areas to the highest standards, ensuring areas are hygienic and visually appealing.
