Minor Hotels' Oaks Brisbane Festival Suites is expanding its housekeeping department with casual opportunities for Common Area Cleaners/Houseperson. The role involves servicing and cleaning shared guest areas to maintain high cleanliness and presentation standards, supporting daily targets and safety protocols.

Shifts are rotating across days and weekends, with emphasis on physical work, teamwork, and guest service. Training and tools are provided to ensure a safe, efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a resort or hotel environment is highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Good physical fitness for repetitive tasks, bending and lifting.
• Professional communication with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining all common guest areas to the highest standards, ensuring all areas are always hygienic and visually appealing.
• Collaborating with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
