Overview

The Hilton Hotel Melbourne is hiring for the position of Accounting Clerk. In this position, you will support the Management team of the Accounting departments in related duties to ensure an effective operation of the department.

Responsibilities
  • Receive, verify, and code vendor invoices, ensuring they are accurate and complete.
  • Schedule and process vendor payments via checks or electronic transfers, monitoring payment schedules to ensure timely disbursement.
  • Reconcile vendor statements to ensure accuracy and investigate and resolve discrepancies or outstanding balances.
  • Maintain organized historical records of all accounts payable transactions and documentation.
  • Address and resolve payment discrepancies and issues with vendors and internal departments.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, financial procedures, and regulatory standards.
