Job summary

Accor Apartments & Realty in Melbourne seeks a Hotel Accountant to support a cluster of properties within the portfolio. You will perform month-end close, reconciliations, reporting, and assist with budgeting and forecasting.

The role requires at least two years in a similar role, tertiary qualifications in accounting/finance, and CA/CPA is a plus. You will interact with Area Finance & Property teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in a similar role.
• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting and/or Finance or Commerce.
• CA or CPA qualifications is a plus.
• Proven track record in management accounting.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• End of month preparation, review & reporting.
• Monthly/Annual financial report collation & distribution.
• Balance sheet preparation & maintenance.
• Monthly FBT data review and full year report prep.
• Monthly tax preparation and payments.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Assist in monthly forecasting.
• Assist with internal audit control reviews.
• AR credit management & aged debt maintenance.
• Assist in annual budgeting process.
• Support Area Finance & Property teams in daily/annual requirements.

As theHotel Accountant,you will be an essential member of the Accor Shared Services team, playing a key role in review, reconciliation, reporting and support for a cluster of properties within the Accor Apartments & Realty portfolio.

Primary Responsibilities

• End of month preparation, review & reporting
