Job summary

Bupa Mosman is a modern care home on Sydney’s Lower North Shore seeking staff to support hospitality, catering, cleaning and laundry services for residents. You will deliver empathetic, personal care and help maintain a safe, clean environment across dining, laundry and living areas.

The role suits those with excellent communication skills and a willingness to interact with residents. Flexible shifts and a supportive team are available at our Mosman site.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Cleaning or catering experience preferred but not essential.
• Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week.
• You will have an understanding of work health, safety and hygiene practices and the ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Maintain legislated workplace health and safety, quality and hygiene standards.
• Complete required documentation and reporting.
• Respond to residents’ queries and requests.
• Laundry duties: loading washers & dryers, sort linen, hang, fold, wrap or iron linen.
• Catering/food services: assist with basic food prep, provide meals and snacks, clear dining areas and dishwashing.
• Cleaning duties: general cleaning; mopping, vacuuming, and waste collection in resident areas.

About the Home

Bupa Mosman is a modern care home set in a leafy suburb on Sydney’s Lower North Shore, 20 minutes from Sydney's CBD. It is close to the local community and Balmoral beach with neighbouring medical centre, shopping village, restaurants, cafes, parks and transport links. It consists of 64 beds, with a variety of care units. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.

About the Role

To deliver effective support to the hospitality function within the care home, including catering,cleaningand laundry

Use your fantasticfood services and cleaningskills in a role where you really can make a differenceby providingour residents with an empathetic and personal approach.

About you

Previouscatering / food service or cleaningexperience preferred but not essential.

You will be a team player and someone who enjoys interacting with people and giving back to our most vulnerable.
