Job summary

Merivale in Sydney is seeking a hands-on Handyperson to join our Facilities team at the iconic Ivy complex, supporting Merivale venues across the city. This full-time role covers painting, basic plumbing, carpentry, joinery, tiling, and general repairs while maintaining the presentation and functionality of our properties.

You will work closely with external suppliers and other trades, bring a flexible, proactive approach, and rely on a valid NSW drivers licence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role.
• A strong understanding of general building maintenance, with carpentry experience highly regarded.
• A flexible, hands-on approach and willingness to work alongside other trades within the maintenance team.
• A current NSW drivers licence.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests across Merivale venues, including painting, plumbing, furniture repair and joinery, tiling, carpentry and general repairs.
• Maintain presentation, functionality and upkeep of properties.
• Coordinate with external suppliers and contractors when required.
