Job summary

Amana Living is seeking a Hospitality Cleaner to maintain a fresh, welcoming environment at Wearne Home in Dudley Park. You will handle cleaning and laundry routines and support residents to ensure comfort and quality throughout the space.

The role is a Permanent Part-Time position offering 40.30 hours per fortnight. Shifts are listed for Week 1 and Week 2. Applicants must be able to obtain police clearance, vaccinations, and complete pre-employment checks and induction.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or cleaning in aged care/hospital environment.
• Strong communication with residents.
• Ability to obtain National Police Clearance.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment checks and vaccinations.
• Commitment to all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, sweep, dust and mop designated areas.

The Role

The Role requires proficient time management skills to execute cleaning tasks effectively. Responsibilities include vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, and mopping designated areas according to a set cleaning schedule. Building and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues and residents is essential, using appropriate channels for support, guidance, and addressing concerns promptly.

This role is a Permanent Part-Time role offering40.30 hrs per fortnight at our WearneHome inDudley Park.

Week 1:

Monday: 0700 - 1445

Tuesday: 0800 - 1200

Sunday: 07:00-12:00

Week 2

Monday: 0700 - 1445

Tuesday: 0800 - 1200

Sunday: 07:00-12:00

Please note, you must be able to commit to all days/shifts to be considered.

• Vacuums, sweeps, dusts and mops all designated areas


• Maintains appropriate resident interactions in line with the organisational values

About you

As a Hospitality Cleaner, you'll play a vital role in creating a fresh, welcoming environment. You'll take charge of cleaning and laundry routines, ensuring every space shines and every linen is crisp - bringing comfort and quality to every guest’s experience!

• Evidence of Current Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies


• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)


• Successful completion of pre-employment physical and reference checks


• NDIS Screen Check (or willingness to obtain at interview stage)


• Willingness to attend a paid 1-day (Monday) induction at our Rivervale Training Institute


• Effective communication skills and the ability to develop understanding relationships with residents.


• Experience working in hospitality service roles, preferably as a cleaner in an aged care/hospital environment
