Job summary

Amana Living is seeking a Cleaner at James Brown Care Centre in Western Australia. The role focuses on keeping the facility safe, spotless and welcoming for residents, through attentive cleaning and care.

This permanent part-time position offers 24 hours per fortnight with Wednesday and Friday shifts 0700 to 1300, contributing to a home-like environment for seniors and supporting high cleaning standards daily.

Qualifications

• Evidence of current flu vaccinations.
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance within 6 months.
• Successful completion of pre-employment medical and reference checks.
• NDIS clearance or willingness to obtain.
• Proven organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to attend 1 day paid induction at Rivervale Training Institute.

• Vacuums, sweeps, dusts and mops all designated areas.
• Follows cleaning schedule.
• Maintains appropriate resident interactions in line with organisational values.
• Considers resident lifestyles and personal choice.

• Manage laundry routines in line with the laundry schedule.

The Position

Based at James Brown Care Centre, your role as a Cleaner is to ensure our aged care facility is a safe, spotless, and welcoming space for residents. Through attentive cleaning and care, you’ll help create an environment that feels like home.
