Job summary

Infinite Aged Care is seeking a permanent full-time Barista / Café Allrounder for our Ashmore Aged Care Home on the Gold Coast. You’ll deliver a warm café experience for residents, families and visitors, preparing beverages and snacks, maintaining a clean, safe space, and assisting with dining room service when needed.

Hospitality qualifications are valued but not essential. The role emphasizes excellent customer service and a positive attitude in a busy care home environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated barista experience and love for coffee.
• Friendly, customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills.
• Awareness of workplace safety and hazards.
• Confidence to work independently or with the hospitality team.
• Flexibility, reliability and good availability to cover shifts.

About the Role

We’re looking for a permanent full‑time Barista / Café Allrounder at our care home.

Ashmore Aged Care Home | Gold Coast Be at the heart of our community, serving great coffee and snacks while creating a warm café space for residents, families and visitors. Typically, this involves:

• Delivering a friendly, professional café experience for residents and visitors.
• Prepare and serve hot & cold beverages and café snacks, barista skills and certification desirable.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming café environment.
• Following café procedures to ensure smooth, high-quality operations.
• Supporting stock management with the Chef Manager.
• Assisting with dining room service when needed.

This is a physically active role requiring daily bending, squatting, lifting, and pushing. You must be able to perform these tasks safely to protect yourself, your team, and our residents.

About You

Aged care experience isn’t required - what matters most is a passion for customer service and a positive attitude. Hospitality qualifications (Cert II or similar) are highly regarded but not essential.

You will bring:
