Responsibilities

  • Perform front-of-house duties including customer service and taking orders.
  • Conduct barista work and operate EFTPOS.
  • Handle general office duties using a restaurant booking system.
  • Clean guest rooms, restaurant, kitchen, and admin areas.
  • Assist in basic food preparation with no cooking required.
  • Support kitchen staff as needed.
  • Execute general maintenance duties.
  • Be available for split shifts during breakfast and dinner service.

Are you ready for a true Outback adventure?

We’re looking for a motivated Hospitality All-Rounder to join a well-regarded venue in Outback Queensland, offering a unique experience in one of Australia’s most iconic landscapes.

Whether guests are travelling for business or leisure, this venue provides clean, spacious, and comfortable accommodation, located close to essential services and local shopping.

Now, they’re seeking someone who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on role and is ready to be part of a welcoming and close-knit team.

What’s on Offer
  • Hourly Rate: $32.31 Monday–Friday
  • Penalty Rates: Paid for weekends & after 7pm
  • Accommodation: $115/week
    → Furnished, self-contained studio (in shared townhouse) with private bathroom & kitchenette
    → Shared laundry facilities
  • Meals: 50% staff discount
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Commitment: 6 months
  • Note: Reduced hours between Dec 20 – Jan 5
  • Access: Easily accessible via sealed roads
Your Role Will Include
  • Front-of-house duties: Customer service, taking orders, running meals, clearing tables
  • Barista work & EFTPOS operation
  • Admin tasks: General office duties, using restaurant booking system
  • Cleaning & housekeeping: Guest rooms, restaurant, kitchen, admin areas
  • Basic food prep: Sandwiches and wraps (no cooking)
  • Kitchen hand support
  • General maintenance duties
  • Split shifts may be required (breakfast/dinner service)
Requirements
  • RSA certificate (Responsible Service of Alcohol) – essential
  • Food Handler's Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong written & verbal English skills
