Job summary

St John of God Health Care is seeking a Storeperson to maintain stock across the hospital, replenishing ward imprests, receiving and distributing supplies, and ensuring deliveries are accurately stored and distributed to the correct locations.

This permanent, full-time role offers 38 hours per week, a salary range of $66,243 to $67,367 plus 12% superannuation, and salary packaging options. The role supports efficient hospital services and patient care.

Qualifications

• A current Driver’s Licence and Forklift Licence are essential.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are required.
• Ability to manage stock, inventory and data entry processes with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming goods, ensuring stock is accurate and documented.
• Replenish ward and department imprest stock to agreed levels using the inventory system.
• Pick, pack, and distribute stock and equipment to hospital departments.
• Maintain stock control practices, including storage, counts, and records.
• Coordinate urgent deliveries and supplier returns to support operations.
• Ensure stores and stock locations are safe, organized and compliant.
• Monitor stock discrepancies and report issues to support inventory accuracy.
• Deliver high-quality customer service by assisting hospital caregivers with supply needs.
