Job summary

HPS Gold Coast is seeking a Hospital Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a permanent full-time role focused on inventory management within hospital pharmacy. You will work closely with pharmacists to ensure the right medications and supplies are available when needed.

This position emphasizes stock control, accuracy and reliability, offering ongoing development within the HPS hospital pharmacy operation and opportunities to grow your career in a supportive team environment on the Gold Coast.

Qualifications

• Must be organised with strong attention to detail.
• Experience with inventory management in pharmacy settings is preferred.
• Good communication and ability to work with hospital teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage pharmacy stock and inventory.
• Order, receive and replenish medications and supplies.
• Monitor stock levels and maintain inventory levels.
• Manage stock rotation and expiry dates.
• Support stocktakes and inventory reconciliation.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Support imprest and ward stock requirements.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and hospital teams to ensure reliable medication supply.
• Support general pharmacy operations as required.
