Job summary

SA Health’s CALHN is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant or Senior Pharmacy Assistant for Lyell McEwin Hospital in Adelaide. You will assist with medicine dispensing, stock management, and support the pharmacy team in patient care.

AHA1 or AHA2 experience is required, with progression to higher qualifications; training will be provided as needed. The role offers salary packaging, flexible options, and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Meet the AHA1 or AHA2 requirements and be willing to undertake relevant training.
• Six months of AHA1 experience in SA Pharmacy or equivalent or hold a relevant Certificate III or higher.
• Pharmacy软件/management software knowledge and medicines knowledge are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dispensing, packaging and medicine distribution.
• Manage stock, orders and accurate inventory records.
• Support preparation and manufacture of pharmaceuticals.
• Organise daily tasks and provide technical training to staff.
• Follow procedures to protect safety and confidentiality.
