Job summary

Slade Pharmacy, part of Icon Oncology Group, is seeking a permanent part-time Hospital Pharmacist to join Epworth Freemasons Hospital in East Melbourne. The Saturday shift runs from 8:00am to 2:00pm, 5.5 hours per week, with hands-on training and pathway support.

Based in the dispensary, you will support safe medication use, patient counselling, discharge preparation, and collaboration with the hospital team. There is strong potential for career progression within Icon’s national network.

Qualifications

• Current general pharmacist registration with AHPRA.
• Experience as a pharmacist in Australia or NZ.
• Ability to manage workload independently while collaborating with a diverse healthcare team.
• Active interest in advancing clinical skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and distribute medications efficiently and accurately.
• Conduct medication history interviews and reconciliation as needed.
• Prepare discharge summaries during care transitions.
• Provide patient counselling and education on medications.
