St Vincent's Private Hospital Sydney seeks a dedicated Food Services assistant for the satellite kitchen in Darlinghurst. You will assist in patient meal distribution, maintain hygiene standards, manage stock, and ensure safe operation of equipment in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food services, hospitality or healthcare is desirable.
• Food Safety or HACCP training (desirable).
• Excellent attention to detail and food handling practices.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• A positive, reliable work ethic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical capability to undertake manual handling and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the distribution and service of patient meals and beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and organisation within the satellite kitchen.
• Assist with stock replenishment, storage, labelling and rotation.
• Follow established food safety, infection prevention and HACCP procedures.
• Ensure equipment and work areas are maintained in a clean and safe condition.
• Work collaboratively with the Food Services team to provide efficient, and reliable patient-focused service
