Job summary

Canberra Health Services is seeking an HVAC&R Technician to join the Facilities Management team in Canberra. The role involves planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems to ensure patient comfort and safety.

You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, maintain records, and work with the Workshop Senior to coordinate goods and services.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications, licences and safety certifications.
• Experience in facilities management or construction environments preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Undertake planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across HVAC&R systems.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment faults and perform essential repairs.
• Maintain accurate records including work orders, logbooks and test certificates.
• Coordinate supply of required goods and services and support safety and compliance.
