Job summary

Arjo is seeking an experienced Service Technician for an onsite role at a major Canberra hospital in Australia. You will provide day-to-day technical support and maintenance for Arjo equipment used in patient care environments, ensuring safety, compliance and high availability.

The role involves coordinating with clinical and support teams, managing service schedules and recording activities in the service system.

Qualifications

• Mechanical, electrical or electronics qualification or equivalent technical experience.
• 2-5 years' experience in equipment maintenance or related technical role.
• Experience in healthcare or regulated environments is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs and testing of Arjo equipment and related products.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and service requests within the hospital.
• Record service activities and equipment history in Arjo's service management system.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure required parts are available onsite.
• Support equipment installations, commissioning and user familiarisation where required.
• Ensure serviced equipment meets safety, quality and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with hospital and Arjo teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
