Kareena Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Environmental Services Cleaner & Waste Handler to join our team on a casual basis. You will clean clinical and non-clinical areas, safely handle and dispose of waste, and operate cleaning machinery in accordance with infection control standards.

Join a collaborative Environmental Services team and contribute to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the hospital.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital and theatre cleaning is required or highly desirable.
• Commitment to infection control standards and customer service.
• Willingness to work across morning, afternoon and evening shifts including weekends.

Responsabilités

• Clean clinical and non-clinical areas per hospital policies and infection control standards.
• Safely handle and dispose of waste in line with procedures.
• Collect and distribute linen as required.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Follow Workplace Health and Safety requirements and identify hazards.
• Collaborate with team to complete duties to a high standard.
