Job summary

HammondCare is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to help keep hospital environments clean and safe for patients, visitors and staff. The role supports the Mission in Action, with NSW Health transferrable entitlements recognised, and requires the ability to work to high cleanliness standards across multiple areas.

Experience in health or aged care cleaning is desirable, and candidates should be able to read chemical labels, follow directions, and communicate in English with colleagues and patients.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cleaner in a Health or Aged Care environment (desirable).
• Able to follow directions and complete tasks.
• Able to read labels on chemical containers and communicate in English with staff and patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide an efficient cleaning service in hospital areas to maintain a clean environment and minimise healthcare-associated infections.
• Support patient-centred care by upholding high standards of cleanliness and safety.
