Job summary

Medirest in Sydney is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join our hospital cleaning team at Malabar, with shifts available 7AM–8PM Monday to Sunday. You will clean wards, patient rooms and exterior areas, using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals with a strong emphasis on safety.

We value teamwork, good communication, and the ability to work independently as required. Prior hospital cleaning is preferred but not essential, and casual loading is included in the hourly rate of $38.45.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital or similar cleaning environment preferred but not essential.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently as required.
• Familiarity with Workplace Health and Safety policies and chemical handling.

Responsibilities

• Clean hospital wards, patient rooms and exterior areas.
• Use approved cleaning chemicals and tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Work shifts Monday to Sunday, 7AM–8PM at Malabar (Sydney).
