Job summary

Mercy Health Australia is seeking a Hospital Assistant at Mercy Care Centre Young NSW. This permanent part-time role (32 hours per fortnight, 0.4FTE) focuses on cleaning, linen distribution and waste management in line with infection control guidelines.

You will join a dedicated team delivering patient-centred care and ensuring a safe, hygienic environment. To succeed you should have experience in domestic services, a current driver's licence and be willing to work rotating rosters that may

About the opportunity

The Hospital Assistant in accordance with Department of Health and Mercy Health Service standards and requirements is responsible for ensuring the facility is cleaned and maintained in accordance with prescribed routines and in line with infection control guidelines; linen distribution and collection within the facility; and waste collection.
