Job summary

TAFE NSW Richmond Campus is seeking a Technical Assistant – Horticulture to support practical, hands-on training. You will prepare classes, organise resources and materials, and maintain horticultural equipment and learning environments to be safe and well-stocked for student activities.

You'll attend the Christmas shutdown to service irrigation systems and may travel occasionally to other TAFE NSW campuses to assist with classes.

Qualifications

• Industry experience in horticulture or equivalent.
• Experience operating and maintaining horticultural machinery and equipment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of safety and compliance in a learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare classes and organise resources and materials.
• Maintain horticultural equipment and machinery; ensure learning environments are safe and well‑stocked.
• Support hands-on training and student activities.
