Working closely with teachers, you'll prepare classes, organise resources and materials, maintain horticultural equipment and machinery, and ensure learning environments are safe, well‑stocked and ready for student activities. This is a varied, hands‑on role that combines horticultural expertise, equipment maintenance, customer service, and operational support to help students succeed.
As part of this role, you will be required to attend the campus over the Christmas shut down period to maintain onsite irrigation systems and hand watering.
Occasional travel may also be required to provide support for classes at TAFE NSW campuses beyond Richmond.
You bring valuable horticulture industry experience and enjoy supporting others to achieve great outcomes. Organised and dependable, you're skilled at planning, managing resources and ensuring equipment, materials and learning environments are well maintained and ready to support training activities.
You have experience operating and maintaining horticultural machinery and equipment, with the ability to identify and address routine maintenance requirements. With strong attention to detail, you can maintain accurate records, manage stock and contribute to the smooth day‑to‑day operation of a busy training environment.
