Job summary

Leppington Speedy Seedlings & Supplies Pty Ltd – Yerrinbool NSW is seeking an experienced Farm Manager to lead day-to-day farming operations, coordinate planting and harvesting, manage irrigation, and supervise staff. Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ farm management or supervisory experience in agriculture / horticulture.
• Minimum MR License (HR preferred).
• Chemcert Certificate.
• Tractor experience.
• Agriculture and horticulture experience.
• Livestock handling experience is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day farming operations (planting, spraying, harvesting).
• Co-ordinating and carrying out all planting and harvesting activities.
• Manage irrigation and paddock preparation.
• Oversee maintenance and upkeep of all farm equipment, infrastructure, and facilities.
• Oversee harvesting, post-harvest handling, packaging and dispatch of produce.
• Supervise and mentor farm staff.
• Potential opportunity to work with the stock.
• Coordinate the implementation of occupational health and safety requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant agricultural regulations and industry standards.
• Deliver product to markets.
