Job summary

Care.Live.Smile PTY LTD is seeking Home Support Workers in Newcastle for casual positions to assist elderly and disabled clients in their homes across Caves Beach, Belmont, Charlestown and nearby suburbs.

Responsibilities include domestic assistance, meal preparation, and transport/social support to appointments and activities. Required are First Aid, checks, and a valid driving licence with insurance. Must be able to start ASAP and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• First Aid certification and clearances are required.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check or AU National Police Check.
• COVID-19 vaccination with booster is required.
• Available most days and able to start ASAP.
• Willing to work on a casual basis and travel to surrounding suburbs.

Job responsibilities:

• Domestic assistance- assistance with cleaning and other housework.


• Meal preparation- cooking and preparing meals for the client.


• Transport service/ social support- driving to appointments, outings, shopping, and other recreational activities.

Basic job requirements (for domestic assistance):

• First Aid (HLTAID003, HLTAID011, HLTAID004, HLTAID012)
