Job summary

Adlogic is recruiting Home Support Workers to assist the elderly and clients with disabilities in Newcastle and nearby suburbs. You will perform domestic tasks, assist with meal preparation, and help with transport to appointments and activities.

Applicants must have First Aid, NDIS screening or police check, and be fully COVID-19 vaccinated with a booster. Availability on most days and ability to travel within the area are required; for personal care roles, a relevant Cert IV/Degree is

Qualifications

• HLTAID001/HLTAID003/HLTAID004/HLTAID012 First Aid/safety training as listed in the ad.
• NDIS Worker Screening ID or AU National Police Check is required.
• COVID-19 vaccination with booster is required.
• Available most days and able to start ASAP.
• Willing to work casually and travel in surrounding suburbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with domestic tasks such as cleaning and housework.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Provide transport/social support by driving clients to appointments and activities.

Job Location:

Caves Beach, Belmont, Charlestown, and nearby suburbs

Job responsibilities:

To support the elderly and clients with disabilities at home.

• Domestic assistance - assistance with cleaning and other housework.
• Meal preparation - cooking and preparing meals for the client.
• Transport service/ social support - driving to appointments, outings, shopping, and other recreational activities.

Basic job requirements (for domestic assistance):

• First Aid (HLTAID003, HLTAID011, HLTAID004, HLTAID012)
• NDIS Worker Screening IDorAU National Police Check
• COVID-19 fully vaccinated with booster
• Available most days and can start ASAP
• Willing to work on a casual basis and to travel in the surrounding suburbs

For personal care service, you must have all the above requirements and:

• Cert III/IV in Aged Care, Disability, Individual Support or Nursing

For transport services, you must have all the basic requirements and:

• Comprehensive car insurance - with your name as an insured driver
• Full driver's licence
• Car Registration
