Job summary

UnitingCare is seeking a casual Home Services Officer (All-Rounder) at the BlueCare Kallangur Pilgrim Aged Care Facility in Queensland. You will help create a clean, welcoming environment and support residents with meals, housekeeping, laundry and person-centred care across shifts.

Applicants should have hospitality or cleaning experience, a customer-focused mindset and be prepared for probity checks to support safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, food services, cleaning, laundry or a similar role.
• A customer-focused approach with a commitment to providing quality service.
• Understanding of food safety, infection control and cleaning practices.
• NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, meal service and dining room support.
• Clean resident rooms and shared areas to a high standard.
• Provide laundry services, including care of resident clothing and linen.
• Support residents with warm, respectful and person-centred service.
• Adhere to food safety, infection control and hygiene practices.
• Work with the hospitality team to deliver quality daily services.

• Employment Term: Casual Opportunity Available
• Roster: Please clearly state your availability for shifts on your application questionnaire. Morning shifts can start as early as 6am. Afternoon shifts can finish as late as 8pm.
• Location: Kallangur Pilgrim Aged Care Facility
• Remuneration: $30.05 p/hr ($37.56 p/hr casual) + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances

About the role:

As a Home Services Officer, you'll help create a clean, welcoming and comfortable environment for residents in our aged care home, supporting their wellbeing and quality of life through activities that include:
