Job summary

Rimfire Resources is seeking a Technical Product Development Manager to lead the home pest portfolio from concept to market launch. You will work with R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain and Procurement, guiding third-party formulation and testing partners to deliver regulated products on time.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in pest control or related sectors, with FMCG NPD experience and strong APVMA knowledge. The role offers autonomy and cross-functional collaboration across Australia.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in pest control or related sector.
• Experience developing and commercialising regulated products.
• FMCG/consumer NPD experience.
• Knowledge of insecticides, rodenticides and pest-control tech.
• Understanding APVMA requirements and registration pathways.
• Experience managing external manufacturers and technical partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical development from brief to commercial launch.
• Evaluate formulations, efficacy, claims, stability, packaging.
• Select and manage external partners and manufacturers.
• Oversee APVMA registration pathways and regulatory compliance.
• Drive projects through stage-gate and NPD processes.
• Manage technical risk against cost, timing and commercial needs.
• Build internal technical knowledge to support the portfolio.
