Ashfield Baptist Homes is seeking a casual home and garden maintenance worker to support elderly clients in the Sydney area. You will travel between client homes delivering lawn mowing, basic gardening and light maintenance to ensure functional safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Current Australian driver’s licence and willingness to drive company vehicle.
• Knowledge of Sydney Metro area.
• Passion for mowing lawns and basic gardening skills.
• Access to a Smart phone.
• Proven competence with verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate, Visa etc).
• National Police Check (valid within the last 6 months) or ability to obtain one.
• First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide home maintenance and garden services to support elderly home care clients.
• Travel between client homes and perform tasks such as window cleaning, minor maintenance, light bulb replacement, lawn mowing, weeding and pruning.
• Ensure safety and quality of work while delivering reliable service.

Location: Sydney Metropolitan, Sydney NSW

Casual 3-5 days a week guaranteed

$15,900 salary packaging + $2650 meal and entertainment allowance (eligibility criteria applies)

Paid travel time +NFP tax free benefits

Mature aged and persons of CALD or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply

About the role

We are looking for home and garden maintenance workers to provide quality services for community clients. You will be responsible for providing home maintenance and garden (lawn mowing) services to support our elderly home care clients.

You will be travelling between client homes throughout the day and providing services which can include, window cleaning, minor home maintenance jobs, replacing light bulbs, lawn mowing, weeding and pruning of gardens for functional safety.
