Life Without Barriers in Cairns is seeking a Home & Community Assistant to support Queensland Community Support Scheme clients at home. You will help people with a disability, illness or mental health to stay independent and connected in their community.
This permanent part-time role runs 7am–6pm, Monday to Friday, with travel to multiple clients daily in Cairns and surrounding areas. You will be reimbursed for kilometres, and a starting hourly rate of $36.22 plus super applies.

You will provide personalised support to our QCSS (Queensland Community Support Scheme) clients within their homes in Cairns. You will provide supports to people with a disability, illness or mental health condition to maintain their independence and achieve their goals.
This is a Permanent Part Time opportunity with working hours available between 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, no evening or sleepover shifts. You will be required to travel to support multiple clients each day within Cairns and surrounding local areas, so a willingness to travel is essential to this role (you will be reimbursed $1.01 cents per kilometre travelled while you work).
