Job summary

Youi Insurance is seeking a Large Loss Claims Specialist in Sippy Downs to manage high-impact building and contents claims with patience and clear communication.

You will review assessor and builder reports, apply policy to determine coverage, guide customers, coordinate repairs and temporary accommodation, and work with assessors, builders and suppliers to keep claims moving while maintaining meticulous documentation.

Large Loss handles claims where homes have been seriously damaged or destroyed. Thesearen’tquick claims. They take patience, structure and clear communication with customers,assessorsand repairers, especially whencustomers are stressed and trying to figure out what happens next.This is the kind of work where empathy reallymatters, becausethe decisions you make help people start putting their lives back together.

Most daysyou’llbe reviewing reports, applyingpolicyand keeping multiple stakeholders aligned so claims keep moving. Some conversations will be straightforward while others will be tougher, where customers need calm explanations and steady guidance.Youwon’tbe left to figure it out alone.You’llwork alongside experienced advisors, take part in regular casereviewsand build confidence managing more complex claims over time.

This role suits someone who has already worked inbuilding andcontents claims and understands how policy and repairs come together.

What you’ll be doing

• A full-time role in-office at Sippy Downs


• Manage a portfolio of large loss building and contents claims
