Job summary

UPA Aged Care Solutions is seeking a Home Care Worker for the Western Region based in Dubbo. You will deliver person-centred care to help older people live independently at home and stay connected to their community.

The role involves assisting with personal care, medications, transport, and daily living tasks, reporting on client services, and traveling around Narromine, Yeoval and Wellington areas as needed. Pre-employment checks and immunisation policies apply.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support or similar is highly desirable.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel are essential.
• Registered and insured vehicle ownership is required.
• Strong compassion and communication skills for person-centred care.

Responsibilities

We currently have an opportunity for Home Care Worker to join our Western Region team based in Dubbo.

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualised care using a person-centred approach as per client care plans
• Assist with personal care, medications, transport, and respite services
• Provide everyday living support such as domestic assistance, gardening, shopping, and meal preparation
• Complete accurate and timely reporting of client services
• Identify and report client risks via our incident management system

What You’ll Need:

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Community Services (highly desirable)
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel
• Registered and insured vehicle
• Compassion, empathy, and a passion for helping others
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Confidence in using technology
• Should be comfortable to travel around Narromine, Yeoval and Wellington surrounding areas.
