We are currently seeking permanent part-time Home Care Workers - Aged Care, to support our frail aged and elderly clients in their personal homes acrossGold Coastsuburbswhich include Burleigh, Tallebudgera, Elanoraand nearby surrounding suburbs.
Being able to age well and enjoy life from the comfort of home is important for our aged care clients. Whether it’s a helping hand around the house and garden, or support to get out and about in the community and connect with others, you’ll be supporting our clients in day-to-day activities.

What we can offer you:

  • Base pay rate of $32.67 (for Cert III qualified) + penalties + loadings.
  • 12% superannuation (higher than the statutory 11.5%).
  • Increase your take home (net) pay by salary packaging up to $18,550 p.a. which can cover your everyday living expenses and bills (up to $15,900 p.a.) and meal entertainment (up to $2,650 p.a.).
  • Paid KM’s and travel time between client visits.
  • Paid training on commencement and ongoing paid training & development.
  • Weekday, weekend shift loadings, penalties and allowances.

Overview of the role:
  • Support our clients in their personal homes with domestic assistance, cleaning, social and recreational visits, transport, personal care, running errands, preparing meals.
  • Use your own vehicle to transport participants to community-based social and recreational outings.
What you need:
  • Desirable, but not essential, completed or enrolled in an industry relevant Certificate III or higher qualification.
  • Due to our female client’s preferences for personal care and support, these services require female support workers.
  • Completed industry-related placement hours and/or paid employment experience as a Care Worker, Support Worker or in a Nursing role, or, 3 months paid experience in a Cleaning role.
  • Australian Working Rights

  • Provide First Aid Statement of Attainment
  • Provide CPR Statement of Attainment
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to apply)
