Job summary

Churches of Christ Home Care, Maryborough & Hervey Bay is seeking a Home Care Worker (Qualified) to support seniors at home with daily tasks, companionship and social activities. You will receive training and work in a casual role with 25% loading.

Applicants should have Certificate 3 in Individual Support, a valid driver's license and a willing attitude. Travel reimbursement applies for using your own vehicle; work rights sponsorship is not available.

• Experience in caregiving and supporting seniors in a home setting.
• Ability to provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Willingness to learn and follow care plans and training.

About The Role

As a Home Care Worker, You Will

• Provide friendly companionship and emotional support to clients.

What We're Looking For

This role is perfect for someone who is compassionate, reliable, and eager to make a difference - Providing personalised assistance to clients, helping them maintain their independence and enhancing their quality of life within their chosen community. You will be a valued member of the team, working closely with and reporting to our very supportive Senior Home Care Workers as needed.

Our Ideal Candidate Is

• Currently holds, or working towards a Certificate 3 in Individual Support
• A current driver's license and a reliable, registered, and comprehensively insured vehicle suitable for work purposes are essential for this role. (Reimbursement of $0.96 per KM is provided for use of own vehicle)
• Currently holds, or willing to obtain a current police check
• Hold a valid Australian Work Rights - Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor
